In this talk I will begin summarizing several concepts that appear in string theory and the gauge/gravity correspondence. The goal is to show how a relatively recent formulation of string theory known as pure spinor formalism can be used as a computational tool on the string side of the original AdS/CFT correspondence to probe further this duality.
