The thermalization of isolated quantum systems can be explained by the Eigenstate Thermalization Hypothesis and the standard Gibbs ensemble. However, in the presence of integrable charges, thermalization is better described by a Generalized Gibbs Ensemble, which includes all those charges. In this talk, we will discuss the Generalized Gibbs Ensemble of 2D Conformal Field Theories with a U(1) charge and the conserved charges of the quantum Benjamin-Ono2 integrable hierarchy. This hierarchy could be relevant to effective field theories in condensed matter, in particular for the quantum Hall effect. We will also briefly comment on its holographic realization in the AdS3/CFT2 correspondence and its connections to 3D black holes and anisotropic field theories.
